Standards of Practice for the Teaching Profession

As a teacher, I will work hard to ensure that my students learn in the best way possible, that is also as catered to their learning as possible. I know from personal experience that not all students learn the same. Some need to hear the content, see the content, or even complete hands-on examples to help them understand and grasp the content well.

I will work to create my lessons and assignments in such a way that allows all of my students to understand the content, no matter how they learn best. I will use interactive lessons to help cater to all of these learning styles, and will also use practical activities that allow the students to complete real-world examples of what we are learning. This is what I love about teaching technology courses as there are so many hands-on opportunities for students to learn. I am a hands-on learner myself, so I can’t wait to see what I can come up with to allow my students to have memorable experiences learning in my classroom.
